About Javea
Javea is one of the most beautiful coastal towns situated on the Costa Blanca. It is approximately 90km
from Alicante and 100km from Valencia and is situated on the most easterly point of Spain. Javea has the

One of Javea's main festival take place approximately during the last week of August, while the sun is still shining,
and the first week of September in the port (el Puerto) area of the town (el pueblo) and is in honor of Our Lady of
Loreto. These "Bull Running" do not harm the Bull and therefore do not require a bull ring. This fiesta has been named
